We believe that Jesus Christ is the center of all that exists in the universe. We believe that all persons should be a strong advocate for Him and that His name should be lifted up in all circumstances.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a unique revelation to all people. It is the foundation for both our faith and practice and is inerrant.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is God’s Son, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, willingly took upon Himself all of our sins, died and rose again bodily, and is at the right hand of the Father. He will return in glory for His Church which consists of all those who have chosen to place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

All people are created in God’s image but have been separated from God by sin. All people can be reconciled to God and saved from wrath by believing, placing their faith and trust in Jesus Christ and repenting of sins.

Salvation cannot be earned by human effort. It is a gift that must be received by repentance, faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.

The Holy Spirit indwells the Believer at the moment of conversion, empowers, encourages, transforms and convicts those who have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

All believers are members of the Body of Christ.

We believe that every believer is a minister and has the duty to share the gospel to all the world, beginning in our local area.

We recite, on occasion during worship, the following, commonly known as the Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
